Images depicting Hanoi’s ceramic road and Lan Ha Bay snapped by local and foreign photographers won prizes at the 2020 Travel Photographer of the Year contest.

from the UK claims the best single photo in the travel category.

A photo of Lan Ha Bay taken by Vietnamese photographer Nguyen Tan Tuan is commended in the single image category.

The photo contest receives a total of 25,000 entries from photographers based in 147 countries worldwide. As the best single image in the landscapes and elements category, a photo taken in Colorado, the United States, by Australian James Smart shows a hurricane tearing through the countryside.

Hungarian photographer Irene Becker is honoured in the single image category
for his work titled "The River House".

17-year-old Ben Skaar wins the young travel photographer of the year with a photo
showing a beautiful landscape in the autumn in New Hampshire in the US.

A photo shot in Bengaluru, India, by British photographer Peter Walmsley comes first in the “One shot - Colours of life” single image category.

Azim Khan Ronnie from Bangladesh is named the winner in the smart shot category.

Russian photographer Vladimir Alekseev claims the title of overall winner in the Travel Photographer of the Year contest.
