Speaking at the ceremony, BIDC General Director Lam Van Hai shared that after 15 years of operation, the bank's total assets reached over 920 million USD, an average increase of 13%/year; outstanding credit reached 650 million USD, an average increase of 17%/year; capital mobilisation reached nearly 600 million USD, an average increase of 15%/year; quality and efficiency of operations were positive; a wide network system was built; modern and competitive products; high-quality, well-trained human resources.

In addition to business activities, BIDC has actively cooperated with BIDV's commercial presences to implement social security activities in Cambodia in the fields of education, healthcare, disaster relief support, etc. with a total implementation value of over 10 million USD.

These practical activities have contributed to improving the lives of the Cambodian people and have been highly appreciated by the governments of the two countries for their practicality and effectiveness, he noted.
