As of May 31, 2026, Nike's independent contract manufacturers operated 95 footwear factories across 11 countries. During fiscal 2026, factories in Vietnam produced approximately 52% of total Nike Brand footwear, followed by Indonesia with 27% and China with 16%.

Vietnam's share rose by about one percentage point from 51% in fiscal 2025, extending its lead as Nike's largest footwear production hub.

Vietnam also expanded its role in Nike's apparel supply chain. Nike said its contract manufacturers operated 321 apparel factories across 34 countries as of May 31, 2026. Factories in Vietnam manufactured about 34% of Nike Brand apparel, ahead of Cambodia at 15% and China at 12%.

Vietnam's slice increased by 3 percentage points from 31% in fiscal 2025 and by six percentage points from 28% in fiscal 2024, underscoring the country's growing importance in the company's global sourcing strategy.

According to Nike's Manufacturing Map, updated through May 2026, the company had 142 finished-goods manufacturing facilities in Vietnam, including 83 apparel factories, 42 footwear factories, and 17 equipment and accessories facilities.

These factories employed 460,939 workers. The average employee age was 32, while women accounted for 76.1% of the workforce. Migrant workers represented 0.5% of total employees.

Nike has 39 material suppliers operating in Vietnam. Among finished-goods suppliers, Taekwang was the largest employer with six factories and 56,032 workers, followed by Huali with six facilities and 54,603 workers.

Other major suppliers included Feng Tay with four factories and 46,239 employees, Changshin with three sites and 43,329 workers, Pou Chen with two factories and 31,435 workers, and Ching Luh with four plants employing 28,878 people.
