Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang released the information on March 17 in reply to reporter’s queries about the organization of the 36th ASEAN Summit and related meetings.

“We will issue a specific announcement after a decision on the issue is made by senior leaders,” the official said.

The 36th ASEAN Summit and related meetings were earlier set to transpire in the central city of Da Nang from April 6-9.
