The trade show has been organised by Exporum Vietnam Ltd, Co, aiming to aid foreign businesses in entering the Vietnamese market whilst also promoting Vietnamese goods to companies worldwide.
The occasion has also provided a good venue in which businesses can meet experts, representatives from embassies, associations in their related field, and seek further business opportunities.
In addition, domestic firms will also have the opportunity to access state-of-the-art coffee machines and introduce Vietnamese coffee products to a range of international contacts.
The Vietnam National Barista Championship (VNBC) will also run alongside this year’s event and is expected to provide a useful outlet for the Vietnamese coffee community.
The winner of the VNBC will go onto compete at the World Barista Championship which will take place in Melbourne, Australia, in May 2020.
Furthermore, the Vietnam National Latte Art Championship (VNLC) contest will also be held for the first time during the event in the hope of finding talents in the field of latte art. The winner of the VNLC will have the chance to compete at the World Latte Art Championship 2019 in Berlin, Germany, in June this year.
The final competition being held at the event will be the Vietnam Signature Battle (VSB). The winner of the VSB, which is being sponsored by Rich Products Vietnam, will receive a cash prize of up to US$5,000 and have the opportunity to participate in a training course and other activities organised by Rich Products as well as securing a berth at the World Signature Battle 2019, set to take place in Seoul.
A seminar on the local coffee scene will also be planned during the event to help participants gain an insight into the Vietnamese coffee market.
The event will run until May 4.
