The Vietnam Business Association in Belgium (VBAB) has launched several programs to strengthen economic ties between Vietnam and the European Union, especially with Belgium, a leader in seaports, logistics, and clean energy.
A leading Belgian port energy company is expected to visit six Vietnamese provinces and cities at the end of July to explore partnership opportunities.
VBAB Chairman Nguyen Thanh Vinh said the association prioritizes connecting capable partners in renewable energy, especially in the hydrogen and offshore wind power sectors.

In addition to networking, the VBAB monitors the progress and effectiveness of each project to ensure transparency and mutual benefit.
VBAB will join the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo in September to support supply chain connections and expand international business linkages.
Besides traditional exports, Vinh encourages Vietnamese businesses to focus on higher-value products, such as game design, architecture, and biotechnology.
He also emphasized Vietnam's potential to supply the Belgian market with high-quality information technology professionals, citing past successful partnerships.
At a conference in early June in Brussels, VBAB signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, MBBank, and five Vietnamese localities to promote cooperation in trade, investment, culture, and innovation.
VBAB believes that transparency and sustainable development are essential for Vietnamese enterprises to strengthen their position in the European market.
