Low-cost carrier Vietjet Air has launched a promotional scheme with 2.5 million super-saving tickets priced from just VND8,000 (US$0.35) on offer to customers for their entire domestic flight network to mark the opening of eight new domestic routes.

Customers will be able to purchase the discounted tickets through the website www.vietjetair.com and via the mobile app as soon as they go on sale on June 11, providing the flight dates are between September 6 and December 31.

With regard to the eight new routes being launched by the airline, the promotion will be applied from June 18 to October 24, with the exception of public holidays.

The eight new routes are poised to connect Hanoi with Dong Hoi in Quang Binh province, Hai Phong with Quy Nhon in Binh Dinh province, Vinh with Phu Quoc island, in addition to linking the coastal city of Da Nang with Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Vinh, and Thanh Hoa.

Each of the new routes is expected to offer tourists the chance to savour scenic views of Vietnamese landscape and sample the nation’s traditional culture.

With eight new routes, Vietjet Air are operating flights to 53 destinations nationwide.
