The Ministry of Health reported 136 new COVID-19 cases this evening, raising the total cases on Thursday to 515.

Among the latest patients, three are Vietnamese returnees who entered the country via Moc Bai international border gate in the southern province of Tay Ninh.

All the others are domestic infections in Bac Giang (62), Ho Chi Minh City (62), Bac Ninh (6), Ha Tinh (2) and Lang Son (1). Of these 131 cases were recorded in quaratine or lockdown areas.

The aforesaid cases took the national patient tally to 12,150.

The ministry also reported 63 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 4,653.

The death toll stood at 61./.
