Two years after officially opening the online store UNIQLO.com in 2021, including website version and mobile application, operating in parallel with the retail store system, up to date, the UNIQLO application has reached 2.5 million downloads and introduced more than 15,000 LifeWear products with diverse sizes, colours, and designs.

In addition, RFID technology embedded in product labels also helps UNIQLO track information about each product, and accurately control the number of products available at the store, thereby helping customers find the right product.
In its celebration of four years of operation in Vietnam on November 30, Nishida Hideki, general director of UNIQLO Vietnam, said that four years of presence in Vietnam has been a wonderful journey for UNIQLO.
UNIQLO now has 22 retail stores nationwide.

From December 1 to 7, UNIQLO is rolling out widespread promotions to say "Thank you Vietnam for your always trust and love"across retail stores and online stores.
Since officially launching in the Vietnamese market in December 2019, UNIQLO has continuously expanded its store system nationally to provide a convenient shopping experience for customers. As of December 2023, UNIQLO operates 22 stores in four provinces and cities across the country, including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Haiphong, Binh Duong, and an online store.
“At UNIQLO, we have two key terms: Global One and Zen-in Keiei (all staff to think like a manager and choose the best global option or solution) and Koten Keiei (individual store-driven management based on understanding of local culture and customer needs). In Vietnam, these enable us not only to offer globally standardised products and services but also harmonise with local communities,” Hideki said.
In addition to expanding its retail store system, UNIQLO also strives to increase the proportion of LifeWear Made in Vietnam products at domestic stores.
Before 2019, these products only appeared in international UNIQLO stores. By 2022, the proportion of Made in Vietnam products in domestic stores was more than 50 per cent. Not only providing quality products and services, UNIQLO also strives to make practical contributions to local workers and those in need of support in the community.
At its domestic stores, UNIQLO trains about 1,000 employees, of which more than 70 per cent of store managers are Vietnamese.
UNIQLO cooperates with social organisations to implement many community support programmes, such as the RE.UNIQLO, an activity that collects used clothes, sorts them and gives them to those who need them, creating a more meaningful life cycle for clothes, or the project "Bringing clean drinking water to the Mekong Delta," as well as creating equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Most recently, UNIQLO announced that it will contribute all revenue from the UTme collection! from four stores, to the Hope Foundation to contribute to building schools for children in Mu Cang Chai, one of the most remote districts in Yen Bai province, 300 kilometres from Hanoi.
