At 21:30 pm on March 19, the Ministry of Health announced that it had identified two flights carrying passengers who had contacted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), including Emirates' flight EK394 from Dubai to Noi Bai International Airport on March 12, and Qatar Airways QR976 from Doha to Noi Bai on March 17.

The Ministry of Health requested that all passengers on these flights to immediately contact the City Disease Control of provinces and cities for health monitoring instructions.

The travel agents are responsible for notifying any passengers who had purchased flight tickets on the aforesaid flights.
