Hana Ngo, deputy CEO, Vinpearl, and Boon Sian Chai, managing director and vice president of International Markets, Trip.com Group

This partnership aims to promote Vinpearl properties and attractions through comprehensive marketing and destination promotion campaigns, enhancing the visibility and appeal of Vinpearl to travellers worldwide. This collaboration builds upon the successful relationship established in 2016, with all of Vinpearl's properties currently listed on Trip.com Group's platforms.

As part of this strategic collaboration, Trip.com Group and Vinpearl will work together to increase visibility and drive bookings of Vinpearl's diverse range of hotels and resorts on its platforms. Through targeted marketing campaigns and destination promotions, this partnership will enhance the reach and engagement of Vinpearl's luxurious accommodations. By leveraging Trip.com's extensive user base and advanced marketing tools, Vinpearl properties will gain optimised exposure, ensuring travellers can easily discover and book their ideal stay.

Trip.com Group will also leverage its extensive tourism resources to promote VinWonders, Vinpearl's renowned chain of amusement parks, to a global audience. The collaboration will include running joint marketing campaigns, enriching product content and combinations, and initiating offline promotions to boost awareness and interest in Vinpearl's attractions and tourist-related activities in Vietnam. This strategic approach aims to provide travellers with a comprehensive and memorable experience, showcasing the best of what Vinpearl and Vietnam have to offer.

As a result of this partnership, Trip.com Group will be the primary channel for promoting Vinpearl in selected markets, including China. Customers booking through the group’s platforms will enjoy exclusive rates and ticket amounts for VinWonders, along with special deals for higher-tier members on hotel stays and package rates. This exclusive access underscores Trip.com Group's commitment to providing exceptional value and unique travel experiences to its customers.

“We are thrilled to strengthen our partnership with Vinpearl, a leader in Vietnam's hospitality industry," Monica Xiao, CEO of Accommodation Business Group, Trip.com Group, said. "It reinforces our commitment to providing travellers with exceptional experiences in Vietnam; I believe our combined expertise and resources will highlight the beauty and attractions of Vietnam, contributing to the growth of Vietnam's tourism sector.”

Another representative from Trip.com Group revealed that Trip.com is actively collaborating with the Vietnamese government and local firms to enhance its presence in the country. This effort aims to attract not only Chinese tourists visiting Vietnam but also international tourists.

Hana Ngo, deputy CEO, Vinpearl, emphasised that Vinpearl believes that Trip's comprehensive platforms will elevate travel experiences and help tourists enjoy the best of class services, saying, “Our partnership with Trip.com Group has been incredibly successful, and we are excited to take it to the next level. Together, we will elevate Vinpearl's presence in the global market, offering unparalleled value and unforgettable experiences to our guests.”

Trip.com Group and Vinpearl have been collaborating since 2016, with Vinpearl's properties fully integrated into the group’s platforms. In recognition of this successful partnership, Trip.com Group was honoured with the "Most Promising Partner" award by Vinpearl in 2023. This new strategic partnership comes on the back of healthy growth, with Vietnam hotel bookings on the group’s platforms in April 2024 more than doubling year-on-year. Meanwhile, searches for Vietnamese hotels grew by 84 per cent in the same period.
