An auction of Government bonds on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) on May 27 raised VND3.707 trillion (US$158.5 million) for the State Treasury.

G-bonds worth VND6.5 trillion were issued, with ten- and 15-year bonds bringing in VND2.5 trillion each, five-year bonds VND1 trillion, and those with a maturity of 30 years VND500 billion.
Some VND1.207 trillion worth of ten-year bonds was mobilised at an annual interest rate of 2.9%, 0.1% higher than at the previous auction on May 20.
Meanwhile, 15-year bonds were sold at an annual interest rate of 3.07%, 0.12% higher than at the previous auction and raising VND2.5 trillion for the State Treasury.
None of the five- and 30-year bonds were sold.
The State Treasury has collected VND53.443 trillion via G-bond auctions at HNX this year.
