According to the local customs department, end-October, the number of export declarations processed by the department increased 27.4% compared with the previous year to 821,261. The export trade rose 25% year-on-year to VND42.72 billion.

Meanwhile, the number of export declarations processed by the department increased 16% compared with the previous year to 944,653. The import value increased 27.34% year-on-year to US$50.1 billion.

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, between January and November 11, the local department saw a year-on-year increase of 20.26% to VND55,269 billion in tariffs. This figure met up to 98.69% of the annual target by the country’s customs department.
