With the tourism logo and the campaign on building a safe, friendly and attractive destination, Thanh Hoa Province has focused on introducing beautiful, unique and typical images of the nature, culture, cuisine and people of the province; its heroic history, fine customs and practices, and historical figures; and examples of exemplary citizens in the locality, aiming to evoke pride and love for the homeland, and contribute to building a friendly, polite and civilized Thanh Hoa people.

Thanh Hoa Province also launched a tourism stimulus programme 2022, which received the response of representatives of businesses from inside and outside the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet highly appreciated Thanh Hoa Province for defining a new vision and methodical tourism development strategy through the announcement of the logo, brand identity of Thanh Hoa tourism and launching the tourism stimulus programme, with the aim to build a safe, friendly and attractive Thanh Hoa destination.

In order to effectively implement tourism recovery and development plans, especially when international and domestic tourism activities re-open from March 15, Deputy Minister Doan Van Viet suggested that localities and businesses should ensure safe conditions for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, prepare plans to handle risks in the process of deploying and reopening tourism activities, develop diversified tourism products to meet new tourism trends, upgrade material and technical facilities, and supple tourism human resources.

Localities need to be proactive and have policies to support businesses in developing new products, ensuring safe, quality, diverse and attractive conditions, suitable to the conversion requirements of tourists after the COVID- 19 pandemic, he added.
