Beyond the textile and garment sector, Vietnam is also ranked as the world's second-largest  exporter of footwear. According to LEFASO, the Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag  Association, the country's footwear and leather exports reached US$27.04 billion in 2024, marking  an 11.45% year-on-year increase. Export growth is projected to rise by another 10% in 2025,  underscoring Vietnam's strong position in the global footwear supply chain.
