In 2021, Minister Nguyen Chi Dung urgently proposed to set up a project to build international financial centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Focus on quickly completing the legal framework in combination with the deployment of new types of economy, digital economy and provision of public services, comprehensively implementing the digital transformation program for Vietnamese enterprises. Especially from 2021, it is necessary to focus resources on projects on the North-South expressway, Long Thanh international airport, coastal routes, traffic routes connecting seaports, airports, roads. highways, infrastructure of industrial parks, coastal economic zones," Minister Nguyen Chi Dung suggested.
