This event connects Vietnamese leaders with Swedish companies, providing a platform to explore value-added partnerships that can enhance Vietnam’s green initiatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights from industry experts and explore practical solutions tailored to local challenges.
At the exhibition, Vietnamese businesses have the opportunity to explore advanced solutions at the Swedish pavilion, ranging from 5G technology, smart grids, energy storage systems to polymer technologies, food packaging, generators, pumps, gardening, and forestry equipment. These solutions aim to enhance efficiency and climate resilience, supporting Vietnam’s sustainable development goals.

Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Johan Ndisi stated that the Swedish pavilion at GEFE 2024 focuses on renewable energy, emissions reduction, circular economy, and new technologies, with the goal of helping Vietnam strengthen its global position and attract investment.
This is not just an exhibition, but also a collaborative space to support Vietnam’s green transition, featuring leading companies, such as Atlas Copco, Ecolearn, Ericsson, H&M, Hitachi Energy, Husqvarna, and Trelleborg, all committed to promoting sustainable practices for shared success.
Ambassador Johan Ndisi emphasized that the Swedish pavilion at GEFE 2024 reflects Sweden’s commitment to sustainable development. “We want to foster deeper cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam for a greener future,” he said.
As the world’s second most innovative country, Sweden is home to many of the most pioneering and innovative companies. Sweden is aiming to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.
“We are proud to share our experience and best practices with Vietnam. Collaboration is key to addressing climate change, and we aim to connect Sweden with key stakeholders in Vietnam’s sustainable development market,” shared Ambassador Johan Ndisi.
“The Swedish pavilion at GEFE 2024 is not just an exhibition; it is a collaborative platform to strengthen partnerships and accelerate Vietnam’s green transition. By showcasing our solutions, we hope to inspire closer cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam,” the ambassador added.
| Taking place from October 21-23, the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE 2024) is co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham). This is the largest event of the year, aimed at promoting and connecting government and business collaborations between Vietnam and the EU for green economic activities in Vietnam. The event attracts over 200 booths from companies and organizations from 13 countries, showcasing and promoting products and solutions that align with the goals of a circular economy and emissions reduction in Vietnam. The exhibition coincides with a series of activities, including workshops and high-level dialogues between businesses (B2B) and between businesses and the government (B2G), gathering many experts and partners from sustainable development companies both domestically and internationally. |
