This award recognizes Shinhan Bank’s efforts in supporting the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam, bringing comprehensive financial solutions and achieving impressive growth performances.

According to the assessment result of the World Economic Magazine’s Jury Panel, Shinhan Bank has implemented numerous breakthrough initiatives and provided comprehensive financial solutions tailored to various development stages of SMEs, from startups, micro-enterprises to expansion phase. Thanks to a sustainable companion strategy, the Bank has recorded an outstanding growth in terms of numbers of customers, as well as credit scale over different time periods, and reached a net profit of up to USD 1,598 million as of 2024.

To achieve such impressive results and continue to enhance supports for SME community, Shinhan Bank has implemented a range of customer-centric solutions in a synchronized manner, including: unlocking business capital sources and supplementing working capital for SMEs through flexible loan packages, with interest rates starting from only 4.75% per year, along with financing rates of up to 100% of capital needs. At the same time, providing businesses with medium- and long-term investment capital, with interest rates starting from 5.9% per year.

In addition, the Bank has actively implemented a variety of services to create a comprehensive financial ecosystem and optimize operations for SMEs, such as: smart cash management service – Shinhan CMS; POS payment services with multiple flexible payment methods; the launch of a specialized credit card line for SME customers with a reward accumulation feature of up to 5% on spending transactions; along with a range of other attractive privileges.

Not only implementing services/products, the Bank also actively approaches and introduces its friendly financial solutions to small business owners and household businesses through a series of vibrant events held at traditional markets and shopping centers. Notably, the "Business Breakthrough – Effortless Finance" connection event series, which took place from May 6th, 2025 to June 6th, 2025, at nine traditional markets in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, attracted a large number of interested customers as well as household business owners and small traders.
