A delegation of senior Vietnamese leaders paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on the morning of January 25 ahead of the start of the 13th National Party Congress.

A delegation made up of leaders from the Party Central Committee, National Assembly (NA), State, Government, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, pay homage to President Ho Chi Minh.

Members lay a wreath in honour of President Ho Chi Minh.

Delegates express their profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by President Ho Chi Minh, after devoting his entire life for the cause of independence, national freedom, and the happiness of citizens.

Leading the delegation made up of various high-ranking leaders is Politburo member PM Phuc, along with Politburo member and Chairwoman of the NA Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The group also features a number of senior delegates, including Politburo member and Standing Secretariat of the Party Central Committee Tran Quoc Vuong, in addition to Vice Chairwoman of the NA Tong Thi Phong.

Politburo member and Permanent Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh and Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilisation Truong Thi Mai are also present at the event.

Throughout the day a number of other delegations, including those from the Ministry of Defence, also offer their respect to President Ho Chi Minh.

Delegates then proceed to lay wreaths at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs.

Following their visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, delegates head to the National Convention Centre in Hanoi to participate in the 13th National Party Congress’s preparatory meeting.
