The General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) has required that all security camera systems must be connected to the Customs system to ensure that they can regularly supervise and export stored image data on the system for vehicles carrying goods in and out the bonded warehouses.
Local customs branches are asked to report the operation of the security camera systems at bonded warehouse operators and submit results to the GDVC before December 31.
If there are any change in address, name, and password to access the camera system which has been provided to customs, local units must report to the GDVC.
Customs branches must check the operation of these systems each month and quarter.
If the security camera systems do not meet conditions as prescribed in the Government’s Decree 68/2016 revised in Decree 67/2020, the bonded warehouse’s operation will be terminated.
