Many cities and provinces in Vietnam have continued to keep local schools closed amid the rise in COVID-19 cases.

At a meeting held on March 13, Chairman of Hanoi People’s Nguyen Duc Chung decided to allow local students from nursery to secondary schools to continue staying at home until the end of March.
Meanwhile, high school students will be permitted to return to school from March 22.
Ho Chi Minh City has approved the closure of local schools at all levels until April 5.
Many other localities have also followed suit, shutting their schools until by late this month such as Ca Mau Province, Thua Thien-Hue Province, Dak Nong and Tien Giang.
Most cities and provinces in Vietnam have suspended their schools since February 3 for COVID-19 prevention.
