With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,801 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,343 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw increases.

At 8:39am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,380 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,740 VND/USD, up 40 VND at Vietcombank and 30 VND at BIDV.
