With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,685 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,239 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw increases.

At 8:27am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,090 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,450 VND/USD, both up 100 VND as compared with the February 5 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV increased the rates by 110 VND, listing at 25,090 VND/USD (buying) and 25,450 VND/USD (selling).
