With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,646 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,204 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates showed a mix of increases and decreases.

At 8:29am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,990 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,350 VND/USD, both down 20 VND as compared with the February 5 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV increased the rates by 50 VND, listing them at 24,980 VND/USD (buying) and 25,340 VND/USD (selling).
