With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,544 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,112 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates also followed the downward trend.

At 8:31am, both Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,920 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,280 VND/USD, both down 170 VND as compared with January 22.

Meanwhile, the rates listed at BIDV were 24,895 VND/USD and 25,255 VND/USD, down 195 VND.
