With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,563 VND/USD and the floor rate 24,033 VND/USD.

At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks also saw increases.

Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,242 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,562 VND/USD, up 82 VND and 42 VND, respectively, from the August 21 morning session.
