The daily reference exchange is set at 25,255 VND/USD on August 19.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,518 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,992 VND/USD.

At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks also increased.

Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,120 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,480 VND/USD, up 30 VND from August 18 morning.
