According to the Quang Nam Customs Department, in the first six months of 2024, the department has effectively and synchronously implemented the tasks and solutions outlined in Government Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated January 5, 2024; and has substantially completed its key tasks.

The department has processed customs procedures for 469 enterprises and cleared 71,449 customs declarations, an increase of nearly 15%; the total import-export turnover reached over US$ 2,123 million, up 11.75% compared to the same period in 2023.

As of June 30, 2024, state budget revenue reached VND 3,185.58 billion, up 46.53% compared to the same period. However, due to the implementation of tax refunds under the preferential program for import duties on automobile parts and components and other refunds, the Quang Nam Customs Department has refunded enterprises with a total tax amount of over VND 1,178 billion. Therefore, the actual state budget revenue of the Quang Nam Customs Department reached VND 2,007.52 billion, an increase of 15.21% and reaching 57.36% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (VND 3,500 billion)."
