As a part of the Forum Developing Sustainable Innovative Businesses in 2022 hosted by the Thua Thien-Hue Institute for Development Studies from April 8-9 with the purpose of developing a smart healthcare ecosystem and contributing to local digital transformation, the Hue Family Medicine Centre of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and OneClinic Co., Ltd. provided an insight into proposed solutions for optimising the chronic disease and post-COVID-19 care model based on digital platforms.

During the discussion, the representative of Hue Family Medicine Centre of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy reported that there are still many limitations in the capacity to manage, monitor, and care for chronic and post-COVID-19 patients, especially in the connection of medical data between the healthcare professionals and patients.

Afterwards, a variety of IT solutions were suggested to assist in receiving and managing patient information, increasing primary care quality, and resulting in tangible advantages for the people.

In the process of creating and applying digital solutions to medical examination and treatment operations, the solid collaboration of IT companies is critical, the representative said.

A representative of OneClinic Co., Ltd. presented solutions for managing and treating patients with COVID-19 and chronic diseases at the forum. The solutions were created using up-to-date technology, complying with FHIR and HIPAA requirements.
