On the evening of March 13, 2026, at Thong Nhat Park in Ha Noi, the Ha Noi Department of Tourism organised the opening ceremony of the Ha Noi Tourism Festival 2026. This event aims to implement a programme of the Ha Noi People’s Committee on investment, trade and tourism promotion in 2026.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Tourism Nguyen Tran Quang said that in 2026 the Ha Noi tourism sector targets welcoming more than 35.8 million visitors, including 8.6 million international visitors; continuing to improve service quality, develop new products, increase visitor experiences, promote digital transformation, smart tourism, and build tourism in a green and sustainable direction. The Ha Noi Tourism Festival is an annual promotion and stimulus activity organised from the first months of the year, with the theme “Green Tourism - Digital Experience.”

This year’s festival is organised on a scale of nearly 100 booths, designed as a journey to explore Ha Noi through distinctive themed spaces.

A new highlight of the festival is the “Technology” space, where visitors can experience modern digital tourism applications such as VR360 virtual reality technology, international online tourism platforms, artificial intelligence applications and reception robots.

In addition, the “Green Region” space introduces eco-tourism, rural tourism, resort tourism and outdoor sports products at typical destinations of Ha Noi such as Ba Vi, Soc Son, My Duc, Dong Mo and Duong Lam ancient village.

Meanwhile, the “Essence” space honours the values of craft villages and Ha Noi cuisine with many demonstrations of traditional crafts and experiences of famous specialties such as lotus tea, Vong village green rice flakes, Ha Noi pho, Ngu Xa rolled pho, Thanh Tri steamed rice rolls, Hang Duong preserved fruits.

In addition, the “Four-Direction Connection” space gathers booths introducing tourism from many localities such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, contributing to strengthening tourism linkage between Ha Noi and regions across the country.

At the festival, many travel companies, hotels and entertainment centres have launched numerous attractive promotion and discount programmes to stimulate tourism demand and bring visitors many choices of experiences. Tour discount programmes, gift giveaways and lucky draws are organised right at the booths. Many travel companies have introduced domestic and international tours with attractive price reductions. Some tours are discounted by several million VND compared with normal prices. Therefore, the festival is also an occasion for a large number of residents and tourists to “hunt” for domestic and international tours at preferential prices.

Director of the Ha Noi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that with a series of diverse activities, the Ha Noi Tourism Festival 2026 is expected to attract a large number of residents and domestic and international tourists to visit and experience. Through this, it contributes to promoting the image of Ha Noi as a destination that is “Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive,” while promoting sustainable tourism development and the green economy of the Capital.
