Binh Thuan is always among the most famous tourist destinations in the southern provinces. Possessing ideal natural conditions with about 300 sunny days a year and more than 190km of beautiful coastline, this resort capital increasingly attracts domestic and foreign tourists thanks to a series of high-class tourism products and services.

Positive signals for the tourism industry

According to Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, in just four public holidays from April 30 to May 3, the province welcomed more than 80,000 visitors. The average room occupancy rate was recorded at an impressive 80-95 per cent.

At the same time, the Binh Thuan tourism industry is setting a target that by 2025, it will welcome nine million visitors, of which about 1.5 million will be international. The total revenue from tourists should reach about $1 billion.

Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism approved Binh Thuan province authorities to host the 2023 National Tourism Year with the theme of Binh Thuan - Green Convergence, showing the strong recovery of the area's tourism.

Key transport infrastructure projects have created motivation for Binh Thuan’s tourism to speed up. Many factors are leading to sustainable growth for Phan Thiet and Binh Thuan, making the tourism industry truly become a valuable gold mine similar to the bright stories of other destinations such as Phu Quoc and Nha Trang.

Welcoming infrastructure with NovaWorld Phan Thiet

The development of arterial highways has always been the key factor in the rise of local real estate values. For example, Quang Ninh province real estate boomed when the Van Don-Mong Cai-Ha Long highway was completed and in Ho Chi Minh City, real estate in Thu Duc city increased in value when the Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway came into operation in 2015.

Similarly, when the Dau Giay-Phan Thiet expressway opens to traffic at the end of the year, the travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet will be shortened to only 1 hour 40 minutes, creating a push to turn Phan Thiet into a leading entertainment centre in the southern provinces.

Another essential push for Phan Thiet’s development comes from Long Thanh International Airport, which is accelerating construction to open phase 1 in 2025.

Only 60 minutes by car from the international airport, Phan Thiet will have the opportunity to welcome tens of millions of international and domestic tourists each year, with the airport being the best guarantee for the stable development and an increase in the value of the resort real estate market.

Welcoming the wave of infrastructure, settlers, and investors are flocking to Phan Thiet and Binh Thuan. Large-scale projects with well-planned construction and reputable investors are magnets to attract investors.

With an investment capital of up to $5 billion, NovaWorld Phan Thiet attracts investors through an ecosystem of hundreds of world-class resorts and entertainment facilities, such as the 16-hectare Miami Bikini marine park, the 25-ha NovaDreams Adventure World theme park, a 36-hole exclusive PGA golf course cluster, a 10,000-seat indoor Arena, a Sport Complex, an indoor amusement park, a shopping mall, a branded hotel cluster, and a busy seafront commercial street.

With the highways and airports that are about to be put into operation, the value of NovaWorld Phan Thiet will increase dramatically.

On a trip to the NovaWorld Phan Thiet project at the end of May, investor Kim Tam said that she wanted to choose NovaWorld Phan Thiet to be her second home to relax and relieve pressure after recognising its high potential for development.

“When the expressway is put into operation, the travel time will reduce to less than two hours from Ho Chi Minh City. This is convenient for our family to relax every weekend," Tam said.

NovaWorld Phan Thiet has completed many utility items to welcome visitors and some subdivisions have begun to be handed over to residents.

To meet the needs of both having a second home and a profitable investment, many new products continue to be launched by investors such as Shop Villa Golf and Boutique Shoptel.

With every passing day, the shape of a mega-city of tourism becomes sharper, more vibrant, and more lively.
