As many as 550 delegates from 33 countries and territories will gather in Vietnam’s northern province of Ninh Binh for the 8th Organic Asia Congress (OAC) from September 17 to 19.
They include policymakers, scientists, businesses and representatives of agricultural development organizations. This year’s congress, themed “Organic for a Better Future,” will focus on policies, markets and farming practices in the organic sector.

Discussions will cover policy-making experiences, the promotion of green finance, the development of transparent and sustainable markets, as well as the sharing of advanced organic farming practices.
The congress will also coincide with Asian Organic Day and Vietnam Organic Day on September 19, adding symbolic significance to the event.
Ha Phuc Mich, Chairman of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association, emphasized that the congress offers Vietnam an opportunity to exchange and learn from international experiences while promoting the country’s image, people, and rapidly growing organic agriculture sector.
On this occasion, Ninh Binh, which is home to UNESCO's Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, is expected to to boost production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products in connection with its cultural, natural, and tourism potential.
With the participation of central government leaders, ministries, agencies, and international partners, the Organic Asia Congress 2025 is anticipated to enhance cooperation, strengthen connections, and shape the sustainable development of organic agriculture in Vietnam.
