Ninh Binh-Nam Dinh-Thai Binh Expressway is expected to be kicked off in 2023

The Government Office on July 22 issued Document No.657/TTg-CN showing the approval of Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh for the project's development that was added to that of the Ministry of Transport (MoT) and the municipal people’s committees of Na Dinh, Thai Binh, and Ninh Binh provinces.

Thai Binh is assigned to be the authorised agency for the development of the project and will be responsible for working with the MoT, Ninh Binh, Haiphong, and other relevant agencies on the construction so as to ensure its schedule and efficiency.

The expressway will play an important role to create a driving force for socioeconomic development in the northern region.

The government has asked the provinces to kick off the project in 2023.
