The Ministry of Health announced one imported case of COVID-19 and 91 domestic infections on Wednesday morning, raising the national patient tally to 11,304.

The imported case is a Japanese national, aged 51, who landed at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on June 13. He has been quarantined and treated at Can Gio COVID-19 Treatment Hospital in the city.
Meanwhile, the local community infections were recorded in four localities, including Bac Giang (61), Ho Chi Minh City (19), Bac Ninh (9) and Ha Tinh (2) in which 90 cases were detected at quarantine camps or lockdown areas.
Among the national caseload, 9,657 are locally-transmitted cases, of whom 8,087 cases have been confirmed since the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence broke out on April 27, 2021.
As many as 1,684,072 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered as of late June 15, said the Ministry of Health, adding that 63,636 have been fully vaccinated./.
