The Ministry of Health confirmed 95 new COVID-19 cases in eight localities on Tuesday morning, raising the national caseload to 16,136.

The latest patients are residents in Ho Chi Minh City (58), Phu Yen (18), Long An (8), Bac Giang (4), Ha Tinh (3), Nghe An (2), Tra Vinh (1), and Vinh Long (1).

The above cases brought the total number of community infection cases reported since April 27 to 12,788, accounting for nearly 80% of the country’s total cases.

The ministry also announced that 3,497,104 vaccine doses have been administered, with 172,994 people fully vaccinated./.
