Airlines on September 16 opened ticket sales in the domestic routes for the coming Lunar New Year 2020.

Accordingly, the national flag carrier- Vietnam Airlines and Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO) will provide nearly 1.4 million seats in 7,600 flights.

Jetstar Pacific also launched tickets for nearly 600,000 seats in 3,000 flights.

Thus, Vietnam Airlines, VASCO and Jetstar Pacific will provide nearly 2 million flight tickets in domestic routes, an increase of more than 250,000 seats and 1,100 flights compared to the same period of last year.

Depending on the market demand, the airlines will increase more flights to serve their passengers during the Lunar New Year.

The routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City/ Vinh/ Can Tho/ Phu Quoc, and linking Ho Chi Minh City up to Da Nang/ Hai Phong/ Thanh Hoa/ Vinh/ Dong Hoi/ Hue/Pleiku/ Quy Nhon/Buon Ma Thuot/Nha Trang and Phu Quoc have huge travel demand.

Currently, the domestic routes of Vietnam Airlines Group are exploited with new and modern aircrafts such as Boeing 787-9, Boeing 787-10, Airbus A350-900, A321neo, A321, etc.

The opening of flight tickets four months before the Lunar New Year is to create favorable conditions for passengers, help people early plan their trips and ensure reservations during peak times.

The airlines will continue maintaining a wide range of fares with a variety of flexible prices.

In order to avoid buying fake tickets or tickets with higher prices, the airlines recommended that passengers should purchase tickets on the official websites, agents and official ticket offices.
