Viet Nam has officially exchanged C/O form D via the ASW mechanism since January 1, 2018 and has so far exchanged e-C/O form D with nine ASEAN member states.

In July only, the numbers of received and sent C/O forms from/to ASEAN nations hit 17,000 and 31,400, respectively. 

From the beginning of the year to the end of July, 80,000 dossiers were handled via the NSW with the participation of nearly 48,500 enterprises.  

Since the launch of the NSW, 226 administrative procedures have been connected, with 3.97 million processed dossiers from 48,500enterprises.

Viet Nam planned to officially exchange the Electronic Export Customs Declaration from October 1, 2021. 

In addition, the General Department of Customs is coordinating with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to prepare technical conditions to start exchanging the ASEAN Customs Declaration Document (ACDD) and certificate of plant quarantine with Indonesia and Thailand.
