Following the requirements of Covid-19 prevention and control, ensuring safety of officials and facilitating the operation of enterprises, the branch has performed by area, conducted online performance and limited direct contact.
All support requests from businesses will be received and answered online.
The branch receives business records via postal service.
The branch receives the customs dossier at the head office in case the business adds a C/O.
All procedures for receiving dossiers are consistent with pandemic prevention requirements such as dossier disinfection.
According to Mong Cai Border Gate Customs Branch, after February 9, businesses will temporarily stop import and export activities, and the Chinese authorities will take a Lunar New Year holiday.
It is forecast that, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, as well as the Lunar New Year holiday, in February, import-export activities will decrease by 40-50%.
During the Lunar New Year holiday, the branch regularly arranges officers to handle arising procedures.
