The PAR index in 2020 of units under the Ministry of Finance showed that, for the group of General Departments, the General Department of Vietnam Customs took the lead with a score of 92.85 (maximum score is 100). Next is the State Treasury; General Department of Taxation; General Department of State Reserve and State Securities Commission.

For the group of departments, the Department of Price Management took the lead with a score of 75.38 (maximum score is 80). The following units are: Department of Planning and Finance and Department of Corporate Finance; Department of Public Property Management and Department of Accounting and Auditing Regulations; Department of Financial Informatics - Statistics and Department of Insurance Supervisory Authority; Department of Debt Management and External Finance.

Notably, the Department of Public Property Management and the Department of Accounting and Auditing Regulations both got 74.5 points, ranking 3rd; Department of Insurance Supervisory Authority, Department of Financial Informatics - Statistics all got 74 points, ranking 4th.

For the departments, the State Budget Department led the ranking with a score of 66.64 (maximum score is 70). The next positions are respectively: Department of Legal Affairs and Department of Organization and Personnel (both got 65 points, ranking 2nd); Department of Tax Policy and Department of Public Administration (both got 64.62 points, ranking 3rd); Department of Finance and Banking; Department I; Department of International Cooperation; Inspectorate of the Ministry; Investment Department.

The Ministry of Finance requested that, based on the PAR Index in 2020, the units should thoroughly understand, learn from experience, and implement solutions to speed up administrative reform work, improve the PAR index of the unit in particular and of the Ministry of Finance in general in the following years.
