Over the past decade, METALEX Vietnam has become an ideal platform for industrialists to catch up on the latest innovation and knowledge in metalworking and its supporting industries. The event will see global technology suppliers and Vietnamese companies exchange innovative ideas through valuable initiatives in the metalworking community as they showcase new technologies, conduct seminars and many more activities.
Manufacturing is a critical component of Vietnam's economy and many see encouraging the growth of machinery manufacturing, mechanical processing, alongside the electronics and other supporting industries, as crucial to sustained development of the country.
After a decline in exports since the second half of 2022, promising signs are now on the horizon for Vietnamese manufacturing and the country has maintained its importance as a place for multinationals to diversify supply sources with its effective foreign policy, geopolitical manoeuvring, and competitive economic advantages.
There is still a high level of demand for goods to satisfy domestic needs, and exports are predicted to surge, which is encouraging news for Vietnam's economy.
Also at the SECC and running concurrently with METALEX Vietnam is NEPCON, ASEAN's number-one international exhibition for the electronics manufacturing industry. NEPCON is an opportunity for top industry providers and subcontractors from around the world to share technical advice about surface-mount technology and intelligent manufacturing with the aim of developing the future of supporting industries.
Attendees at the event can meet and interact with pavilions from international markets such as Taiwan, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China, and Italy as they present their unique technologies and services.
Hirabayashi Tomoya, of the sales and marketing department at Yamaha, said, “We are very pleased with METALEX Vietnam this year. There are numerous exhibits from various industries, and we are thrilled to have such an opportunity to find new clients in Vietnam.”
