MB was honoured at the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2022

The Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards - Vietnam Digital Awards 2022, held in Hanoi last week, saw hundreds of representatives from renowned domestic and international organisations in the software and information technology fields.

Specifically, all three of MB's technological advantages were recognised at the event. Charity app “App Thien Nguyen” was recognised in the category of "Products and solutions for the digital transformation of the community," while Wealth Management, a financial investment platform on the MBBank App and BIZ MBBank, a digital banking solution for businesses, was honoured in the category of "Prominent products, services, digital transformation solutions."

Nguyen Thuy Linh, deputy director of MB Digital Banking said, "MB sees talent as the important aspect in digital transformation. We place a strong emphasis on providing training for bank workers, not just in terms of professional knowledge but also in terms of creative thinking and mindset.”

She added that UI/UX training is provided to all employees, which would greatly support bankers in comprehending customer experience.

MB’s diverse digital innovations were appreciated by the Vietnam Digital Awards 2022 organisers. The Wealth Management feature of the MBBank app is a powerful resource, providing users easier access to a wide variety of investment options, including stocks, bonds, and mutual fund certificates, to name a few.

According to a spokesman from MB, the bank’s goal is to make “App Thien Nguyen” the first social network in Vietnam devoted to volunteering by the year 2025.

MB will incorporate the current capabilities of the iNhandao platform into “App Thien Nguyen” to develop an extensive social network for charitable organisations. At the same time, the platform will be effective, professionally managed, and tailored to the requirements of the applicable legal framework and users’ preferences.

Each year, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and the Ministry of Information and Communications host the annual Vietnam Digital Awards. This year, 49 outstanding organisations, businesses, and novel products and solutions were recognised for contributing to the country's ongoing digital transformation.
