Take a look at the trendsetters applying this technology in Vietnam.
Green factories were one of the important criteria for THACO when building its Chu Lai Industrial Zone. In particular, during the construction of the factory, THACO chose materials and solutions that match the criteria of green buildings, such as insulation, the prevention of solar radiation, and the use of recyclable and reusable materials to ensure high energy efficiency.
THACO's projects use high-quality, alloy-coated COLORBOND and ZINCALUME steel integrated with Activate technology from NS BlueScope Vietnam for the roofing and walling of the buildings. These two product lines help boost project beauty and reduce maintenance costs while retaining superior colour durability.
“BlueScope's materials meet all our standards and requirements for green criteria when building a factory,” said a representative of THACO.

With a strategic location next to Haiphong Port – the maritime gateway of the north – to provide 800 to 10,000 square metres of warehouses, BW has issued strict requirements for construction materials due to the harsh conditions and corrosion of a marine environment.
All components must ensure the durability, beauty, and longevity of the project, so COLORBOND steel with Activate technology has been selected by BW for the building to withstand corrosion.

Among the projects that have trusted BlueScope's high-quality steel integrated with Activate technology, it is necessary to mention the Long Son petrochemical complex project invested in by SCG Group (Thailand) with the total registered capital of about $5.4 billion. This location faces a combination of corrosive elements, including marine and chemical environments.
Therefore, the building has strict requirements for the materials making up its facades. COLORBOND steel with Activate technology is the optimal choice for investors, helping to maintain the sustainable beauty of the building in this extreme environment.

In early 2021, Goertek Vina – a member of Goertek Corporation, which is a high-tech organisation operating in the field of research, development, and production of smart devices – invested $100 million to build a factory in the central province of Nghe An.
Goertek Vina is interested in materials that can be relied on to create sustainable projects that are anti-fading and built based on energy-saving trends to increase investment efficiency, ensure production operations, and protect equipment.
The company has chosen the new generation of high-grade COLORBOND steel integrated with BlueScope’s Activate technology for the Goertek factory to meet its strict requirements and those of the design company.

The famous global stationery brand Deli also chose steel with Activate technology for the roofing and walling of its 110,000sq.m factory in Bac Ninh.
This is Deli's first factory in Vietnam and demanded high-quality materials to ensure the longevity of its production process.
COLORBOND steel with Activate technology was Deli's first choice with its outstanding anti-corrosion ability and long-lasting beauty, allowing Deli to mark a new milestone here in Vietnam.

The Jotun factory in Nha Be district is another typical example of an industrial environment with high corrosion. To ensure the factory’s durability and stability to serve a capacity of 85 million litres of water-based paint and 10,000 tonnes of powder coating per year, Jotun invested $100 million in this factory.
At the same time, this enterprise has been very strict in selecting materials to ensure that the factory is certified as a green building by LEED – the international standard system for green buildings.
COLORBOND steel with Activate technology was Jotun's first choice as it meets the strict requirements for the design and the green material standards of the Singapore Green Building Council.

In addition to these examples, there are many more investors who are currently focusing on the durability and aesthetics of buildings, choosing to use BlueScope alloy-coated steel with Activate technology to boost their investment.
