Themed “Lai Chau - Majesty and identity”, the Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2021 is scheduled for November 2021 in Lai Chau City.

The week aims to promote and stimulate tourism to attract tourists to Lai Chau province and, at the same time, boost the province's tourism development in 2021 and beyond.

The event is also designed to further expand tourism development cooperation with other provinces, provide opportunities for travel businesses to explore and expand markets and build new tours for visitors.

The week features opening and closing ceremonies, street shows, traditional costume performances, ethnic musical instruments, folk songs and dances, long-range bike racing (15km, 20km and 25km), OCOP-certified macadamia exhibitions, Putaleng paragliding tournament, and ethnic culture shows.

In addition, the event includes many tourism activities in famous destinations in the province such as San Thang night market, Gia Khau tourist destination, Rong May glass bridge tourist site, O Quy Ho, Si Thau Chai, Lao Chai 1 and Tham villages.
