The conference was attended by Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province and 150 typical businessmen and business leaders from the two localities.

The exchange was not only an opportunity for businesses of the two provinces to strengthen their friendship, but also an opportunity to look back on the development journey with many difficulties and challenges but also full of pride.
In the context of Vietnam's economy entering a period of deep integration and global competition, the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association and the Thai Binh Provincial Business Association organized an exchange program, sharing experiences in investment promotion, market expansion and restructuring the Association's organization to suit the requirements of the new period.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice Chairman of VCCI, on behalf of VCCI's leaders, highly appreciated the attention, direction, companionship and cooperation of leaders at all levels of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces with the business community and enterprises. Provincial leaders know how to care for the development of enterprises, share policy and mechanism issues for enterprises, encourage enterprises, in the spirit of dialogue and cooperation.
Mr. Phong highly appreciated the proactiveness of the two Business Associations of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces, proactively exchanging and connecting; after the reorganization of the two Business Associations, the cooperation will continue to develop.

Speaking to direct and encourage the business community and enterprises of the two provinces, Standing Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy said that the two Business Associations need to proactively create effective linkage models to adapt to the new integration period",

The Standing Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee suggested that the two Associations should: Focus on promoting the central role of enterprises and entrepreneurs in promoting growth model transformation, technological innovation and sustainable development; Strengthen representation and policy criticism after the merger, ensuring that the voices of local enterprises are heard at the regional and central levels. Build a responsible corporate culture, improve business ethics, and link growth with social, environmental and community responsibilities.
“We are entering a new stage of development, where businesses are not only economic entities but also forces that create value and spread innovative thinking. The merger will only be meaningful when each entrepreneur clearly understands his or her role in that overall picture; commits to continuing to promote the role of connecting businesses, improving competitiveness, and contributing to the sustainable development of the Red River Delta in the period of international integration,” Mr. Huy emphasized.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha, Chairwoman of the Hung Yen Provincial Business Association, emphasized that the two Associations were pleased to welcome the leaders of VCCI and Hung Yen province to attend the conference. After the merger of the two provinces, the business community hopes to continue to receive the attention of the new Hung Yen provincial leaders.

Ms. Ha shared: “In the era of digital transformation and globalization, the association and merger between Association organizations not only helps increase collective strength but also creates a common voice in participating in policy making, trade promotion and investment attraction.”
The merger also opens up a larger space, a more diverse economic ecosystem, a more abundant workforce, more synchronous infrastructure and opportunities for businesses to develop at a new level and scale, leading to the goal of developing the business community in a new stage and the development of the new Hung Yen province. After today's conference, the two Associations will start building the Project to merge the HHDN of the two provinces to promptly report to the provincial leaders.
Ms. Ha shared that after the merger of the two Associations, there will be many effective models in supporting businesses to access foreign markets, connect with strategic partners, as well as improve competitiveness through consulting, training and technology transfer activities.
Talking about the merger and restructuring of the Association in a professional, flexible and quick-to-adapt direction to market fluctuations, Mr. Do Van Ve, Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial Business Association, said: Thai Binh has more than 13,500 businesses operating in the area. “We are ready to work with Hung Yen to build a model of a regional association - an open structure that can mobilize inter-provincial strength, promote investment cooperation along the value chain and improve international negotiation capacity.”

With a favorable geographical location, adjacent to the capital Hanoi, and an increasingly complete inter-regional transportation system, Hung Yen has been and is an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.
This visit and working session has a special meaning, not only as an opportunity to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two Business Associations, but also as an opportunity to exchange information, share experiences, seek investment opportunities, and link production and business between enterprises of the two provinces. Enterprises of Thai Binh and Hung Yen provinces will go far together, develop sustainably and achieve great success.
With the big message - that is the consensus and determination of the business community of the two provinces in accompanying the Party, State and Central Government in the policy of merging the two provinces of Thai Binh and Hung Yen into a new administrative unit - the new Hung Yen province.
The merger of the two Business Associations of Thai Binh and Hung Yen provinces into a new Hung Yen Business Association is an inevitable, strategic and long-term step. This will be a pioneering, exemplary integration model in the whole country - where businesses from two traditional homelands will together create a strong, dynamic, creative and comprehensively integrated business community.

The new Hung Yen Provincial Business Association will not only be a place to gather and connect, but also a place to lead, support and protect the interests of member businesses, a place to promote initiatives, enhance competitiveness and create a great influence on the socio-economic development of the entire new Hung Yen province.
We believe that, with the spirit of openness, receptiveness and deep cooperation as in today's working session, the Business Associations of the two provinces will discuss and exchange to build a reasonable, scientific and effective merger roadmap, thereby proposing to superiors creative ideas and clear strategic goals so that the merger takes place smoothly and successfully.
“After today’s meeting, we pledge to do a good job of preparing, reviewing the organizational system, personnel structure, and developing a specific merger plan to report and submit to competent authorities for consideration and approval as soon as possible,” said Mr. Ve.
We believe and expect that the new Hung Yen Provincial Business Association, after being officially established, will be a symbol of the convergence of intelligence, resources and aspirations to rise up; a typical model, leading the country in terms of operational efficiency, connectivity and spread in the business community. We hope that the cooperation between the two Business Associations and between the business community of the new Hung Yen province will always be sustainable, reaping many great achievements, together building a prosperous future, developing and growing sustainably.
