The central province of Quang Nam has co-ordinated with the People's Committee of Hoi An ancient town to isolate 41 negative cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) according to regulations set by the health sector.

The group of people have been put into quarantine at the Vietnam Farmer’s Union Staff Training School in Cua Dai ward of Hoi An for a 14-day period.
Of the 41 quarantined people, there are 38 foreigners, including 25 Dutch tourists, seven Belgian nationals, two Irish citizens, 2 Swiss travelers, two Finnish tourists, and three Vietnamese nationals.
The Quang Nam Border Guard Command has also been assigned to collaborate alongside Hoi An authorities in a bid to intensify management of concentrated isolation zones whilst simultaneously providing logistical support.
Major Nguyen Hoang, Head of the Cua Dai Border Guard Station in Hoi An, said travelers have seriously followed all isolation procedures in line with regulations set by the Ministry of Health.
Major Hoang added that his unit has co-operated alongside the Department of Health of Quang Nam province and the Hoi An Medical Center in order to provide regular health check-ups for people in quarantine and other essential items to increase their comfort during the isolation period.
