Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department has refunded VAT for nearly 21,188 foreigners carrying goods when leaving the country, with a total VAT refund of over VND107 billion.

The goods that customers brought with them when leaving the country and get VAT refunds are mainly shoes, sandals, clothes, handbags, cosmetics, watches, glasses, etc.

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City has organized many international conferences and exhibitions that have attracted a large number of foreign visitors to Ho Chi Minh City to attend the events, combined with tourism, so the amount of goods purchased by foreign visitors has also increased significantly.
