The celebration is organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. There are two main events, the music festival “Herbalife Nutrition Countdown Party Welcome 2023” and the “Vietnam International Half Marathon 2023 powered by Herbalife Nutrition” to kick off the new year with excitement and inspire everyone to move into 2023 with abundant positive energy to achieve good health and success.

The inaugural “Vietnam International Half Marathon 2023 powered by Herbalife Nutrition” is the first international standard half marathon in Vietnam licensed by the Asian Athletics Association. The routes will take participants past famous and beautiful roads and landmarks of Hanoi, such as Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street, Thanh Nien Street, Phan Dinh Phung Street, The Temple of Literature, and Ha Noi Railway Station.

The tournament is expected to attract about five thousand participants, professional national and international athletes, and amateur runners who can choose from short, middle, and long distances – 5km, 10km, and 21km.

“Herbalife Nutrition Countdown Party Welcome 2023” is a music party at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square featuring a lineup of top Vietnamese singers and artists. This colorful music party promises to stir up the festival atmosphere among the public with an energetic and positive spirit to take us into the new year.

Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said, “Herbalife Vietnam is proud to be the title sponsor of the New Year Celebration in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, for the first time. We believe that a grand music party combined with an international standard outdoor sports event will create an exciting atmosphere to welcome the new year with positive energy and encourage an active lifestyle. I hope Hanoi’s residents and tourists will have many joyful and memorable moments at the beginning of 2023 with our events”.

“This sponsorship strongly demonstrates Herbalife Vietnam's commitment to encouraging Vietnamese people to lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically active through our collaboration with key partners like the Vietnam Athletics Federation, VFF, VOC, VPA, and nutrition and health organizations. This is the third Marathon Tournament in Vietnam that Herbalife Vietnam has the honor of officially sponsoring, after the VnExpress Marathon and Tien Phong Marathon”, Mr. Thang added.
