Over the past few days, medical workers have worked very hard in Dong Trieu town of northern Quang Ninh province, a coronavirus hotspot in Vietnam, to early detect and quarantine suspect cases in the community.

The authorities of Quang Ninh province dispatch 240 medical staff in order to provide further support to Dong Trieu town, the nation’s latest COVID-19 hotspot.

Health workers, divided into 64 groups, rush into communal houses and health stations to take samples

Alongside communal houses and health stations, wet markets where large crowds of people meet are the primary target of the medical workers

The Vietnam - Sweden Hospital based in Uong Bi city also sends 82 medical staff to Dong Trieu town in an effort to speed up the massive testing process.

The fresh coronavirus outbreak requires them to work throughout day and night. Some take a short nap on the floor during the break

Despite challenges, they remain optimistic and continue with their relentless efforts to help quickly stamp out the latest outbreak.
