A total of 27 health workers who have been providing direct treatment to patients contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) at Hue Central Hospital have tested negative for the virus, according to Thua Thien Hue province’s Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Hue Central Hospital is currently treating four COVID-19 patients following two patients being moved to Hue from the central province of Quang Nam.

Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep, Hue Central Hospital Director, said the hospital had dispatched several doctors to provide treatment for the patients at isolation areas. 

In order to avoid themselves becoming infected by the COVID-19, each doctor has been required to follow strict procedures in line with regulations set out by the Ministry of Health, notes Dr. Hiep.
