The Ministry of Health confirmed 330 new COVID-19 infection cases on Wednesday evening, raising the national caseload to 23,071.

The latest patients include nine Vietnamese returning home via the land border gates in the southern provinces of An Giang and Tay Ninh between June 27 and July 4.
All the others are domestic infections in Ho Chi Minh City (149), Binh Duong (60), Khanh Hoa (41), Vinh Long (24), Tien Giang (18), Phu Yen (8 ), Vinh Phuc (5), Hung Yen (5), Dong Thap (5), Ha Noi (3), Bac Giang (2), and Thanh Hoa (1). Of these, 268 cases were detected in quarantine camps or lockdown areas.
With 677 cases confirmed earlier the same day, the daily COVID-19 tally reached 1,007.
The ministry reported that 480 patients were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 8,557.
The death toll rose to 102, said the ministry.
